Growth-ready business assessment
Find out exactly what's driving — and limiting — your business growth
Most business owners know what they do well. They also have a sense that something's holding them back. They're just not sure what. The Growth Ready Business Assessment (GRBA) gives you a clear, evidence-based answer — across every dimension of your business — and a concrete plan to act on it.
No guesswork. No generic recommendations. Just an honest picture of where your business stands and what needs to happen next.

An assessment built for businesses serious about growth
The GRBA is a structured assessment that goes well beyond a casual conversation or a generic business health check. It's a rigorous, scored assessment that examines your business across six growth dimensions — combining your perspective as the owner with the perspective of your team.
That combination is deliberate, and it matters.
What you see from the top of your business and what your team experiences day-to-day are often different — and those gaps are frequently where the real growth opportunities and barriers are hiding.
Owner Assessment:
Your view of the business
Strategy, vision, direction, financial confidence, growth priorities - captured through a structured assessment designed to clarify and confirm what's working and what can be improved.
Team Assessment:
Your team's experience of the business
Culture, clarity, systems, communication - how your team actually experiences the business day-to-day, compared against your view from the top.
The misalignment between these two perspectives is often the single most valuable insight the GRBA brings to light. It's not unusual for it to shift an owner's entire view of their priorities.
Scored across six dimensions that drive - or limit - growth
The GRBA assess your business across six key dimensions. Each one is scored, giving you a clear picture of where you're strong and where some work needs to be done.
Dimension 01
Foundations and growth readiness
Is the business built on solid ground and currently ready to scale?
Dimension 02
Strategic clarity and direction
Is there a clear and shared sense of where the business is heading and why?
Dimension 03
Financial health and performance
Are the numbers healthy, understood and being used to make good decisions?
Dimension 04
Operational systems
Can the business operate and grow without everything running through you, the owner?
Dimension 05
People and culture
Is your team properly set up to grow with the business? Are they engaged enough to want to?
Dimension 06
Client acquisition and retention
Is growth predictable and repeatable? Or are you always and unsystematically chasing the next client?
How it works
Simple process. Substantial output.
We start with a meeting or call to understand your business, your objectives, what you're trying to leverage and what you're trying to solve. This ensures the GRBA is set up to focus on what matters most.
You complete the structured assessment covering all six dimensions. We like to complete this with you face-to-face, where practical. Your nominated team members (which could be everyone, depending on the size of the business) complete a parallel survey. Both are thorough, but designed not to be onerous.
We analyse the results, in particular including the alignment and gaps between owner and team perspectives. Then, we develop your detailed report and blueprint. Not from a template, but built around the specifics of your business, your scores and your priorities.
We present the results to you and whoever you'd like involved. We walk through the messages the data has delivered, what it means for your business, and how to prioritise what happens next.
Not a long "to-do" list. A focused set of opportunities ranked by impact, so you know exactly where to start, what can wait, and why.

A few things people usually ask.
Who should be involved from our team?
That depends on your business and what you want to learn. As a minimum, we'd recommend including your key leaders or managers. The more representative the team survey, the richer the insights. We'll guide you on this during the discovery conversation.
How long does the process take from start to finish?
Typically, three to four weeks from the initial conversation to the findings presentation — though we can move faster if needed. The surveys themselves take most people under an hour to complete.
Is this just a starting point for selling us more services?
No. The GRBA stands on its own as a complete engagement. Some clients use it as a standalone diagnostic and implement the recommendations themselves. Others experience it as the starting point for the Growth Breakthrough Program. In some situations the assessment has brought very specific issues to the forefront, which we can help you work through or introduce relevant subject matter experts. At all times, you're in control.
What if we've already done something like this before?
Most business diagnostics we've seen are either too surface-level or too narrowly focused. The GRBA is distinctive because it captures both owner and team perspectives and scores them across six specific growth dimensions. If you've done something similar, the discovery conversation is a good place to work out whether this adds something genuinely new.

Here's how we find what's hiding in plain sight
Think of this as a health check for your business. We'll explore a range of factors that affect growth and, most importantly, make sure you've identified and prioritised all possible opportunities that will deliver the growth you aspire to.
We'll also look into how everything is aligned, because when your team. strategy and everyday operations are all pulling in the same direction, that's when the magic happens.
We'll highlight what's working well (so you can do more of it) and what might be holding you back (so you can fix it). The best part? We often spot opportunities you didn't know existed.
There's nothing generic about this...it'll help you gauge your readiness to create the business you want.
By the way, we can do this either face-to-face or online.
